Sad day, with a bit of joy.

Just got word that one of my band of brothers died yesterday, Bobbie Hawkins was class act. we worked together on several ocassions, a flood and and stike detail, never ever knew him not to be smiling. Called the Madison Co Sheriff's Office today and talked to my former partner Mike Colyle who is the new Chief Deputy there now. He, David Mirus, David Campbell, George Wells and Wimp Stewart. we were a band of brothers. The orginal FEADS (Functional Eliterates Against Drugs). LOL. Yes, we were truly iliterate. LOL.

4/7/11 Opening the pool today, looks to be a hot summer, mermaid and totom will get lit up by the pool light. Golfed yesterday, best round of the year so far, 69. 3 Birdies 2 boggies, aireating the greens today on the bottom , top 9 only. Staff meeting at 0930, counting down the days, we'll almost.

Big fishing day.

Emily and I fished late yesterday, WOW, caught 9 bass and two monster crappies.

City of Hope

Went to Clay Co. today tracking a dead beat, new sign entering Manchester, City of Hope? "Hope you get out alive". We always called it Gunchester, I took a cultivating Marijuana case to the Grand Jury in Clay Co.back in the day, miscreant had a electric fence around his patch with the extension cord ran in his bed room window, got a no return on the indictment, "Not enough evidence". "Any body could have slipped in and plugged that extension cordin his bedroom".

fished today, caught 20 bass and a 10 lb. blue cat. Took me 20 minutes to land it, fishing with 6lb. test line. Fixed jambalaya. Rained all day.

1st blog, waiting for the storm to pass, and learning to ddance in the rain. Planted my garden today and then it rained and I danced around the pool , great timing. Life is like marksmen ship. To be a high master, hold toward the center and pay attention to detail. A lesson learned from Gunny hathcock in sniper school and a great philospy for life.
